Out For Business's mission is to build community among the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members of the Ross community and to raise awareness among all Ross faculty, staff and students of the issues facing LGBT individuals in society.
Our activities are centered around the following major themes:
- Career Development: We work with a wide variety of firms to facilitate the recruiting process for LGBT students at Ross.
- Education & Visibility: We partner with other campus organizations to encourage dialogue about the unique issues facing LGBT people in the workplace and in society.
- Social: We provide opportunities for socializing among our members and with the greater University of Michigan community.
Membership is free and open to all Ross students who are interested in LGBT issues. We count among our members BBAs, day MBAs, evening MBAs, MAccs and PhD students.
